Your Meeting with the Trustee

Trustee Information

After you file a bankruptcy case (whether Ch 7 or Ch 13) you are required to attend what is called a Section 341 meeting of creditors. This name is somewhat inaccurate since creditors almost never participate in these meetings. There will be an attorney known as a bankruptcy trustee appointed to your case who will ask you some questions during the meeting. These meetings are now conducted virtually via Zoom. Your attorney will be on the Zoom meeting with you. If you are not comfortable navigating Zoom on your own, we offer our clients the option of coming to our office for the meeting.

Each trustee has his/her own requirements regarding the documents required before your meeting, and most use their own unique questionnaire that they will require you to fill out before the meeting. Below is a list of some of the trustees our office frequently deals with in Missouri separated by federal district (Eastern/Western). Listed next to each trustee is a link to the trustee's Zoom meeting room as well as a link to the trustee's questionnaire if they have one.
